Dr Kondo H. ADJALLAH is Professor at the Ecole Nationale d’Ingénieurs de Metz since September 2008, where he holds the position of director of the international relations. He received the M.S. degree in electrical and control engineering, and then the Ph.D. with the National Polytechnic Institute of Lorraine, France. He served as Associate Professor at the Université de Technologie de Troyes (UTT), France, from 1994 to 2008. He has been visiting Prof. (2005-2006) at the University of Cincinnati, Department of Mechanical, Industrial and Nuclear Engineering, NSF Industry/University Cooperative Research Center on Intelligent Maintenance Systems. He has been visiting Prof. (2011) at the Nanjing University of Science and Technology in China. He is leader of the RARe (Risk, Anticipation & Resilience) research group of the LCOMS (Laboratory of Conception, Optimization and Modeling of Systems) at the University of Lorraine. His current research interests include systems’ reliability modeling, health condition monitoring, data collection and analysis for predictive maintenance decision support of the durable infrastructures. He is the chairman of the Working Group on “Modeling and Optimization of the Distributed & Collaborative Maintenance” of the French National Scientific Research Center, member of the IEEE society since 2002.

Dr Alexandre SAVA is Associate Professor at École Nationale d’Ingénieurs de Metz, since September 2002. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in control systems and industrial engineering from the Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble in 2001 and the position of senior researcher (HdR) from the Université Paul Verlaine de Metz in 2011. His current research activity deals with modeling, reconfigurable control of discrete event systems and simulation based optimization techniques applied to the management of multi-source energy production and distribution systems.
