Mission: The specialization in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology seeks to train professionals in molecular biology and biotechnology that are able to propose viable alternative solutions in the field of modern biology.

Objectives:

General: To train students in the understanding and analysis of biological systems from a molecular perspective to expand their knowledge, use of best available information in molecular biology, facilitate technology transfer processes and facilitate the resolution of specific problems of different sectors of production and of human activity having to do with the biological field.

Specific:

To train specialists in the area of molecular biology and biotechnology to be able to convey in their jobs the knowledge acquired and thus become an important multiplier.
To train specialists with high capacity for interdisciplinary work to enable them to offer solutions to the problems of the region.

To train specialists with the ability to formulate research projects, participate in its implementation and present the results accordingly.

Profile:

The program will focus on self-learning and in personal and group work in order to induce a trend towards the professional updating his/her knowledge and pursuing the systematic search of relevant literature.

The graduate will be a professional concerned about the knowledge, its development and its application in different fields of biology.

Also, have a great interest in the methods used to conduct research in the field of molecular biology and biotechnology.
